And then I set it on a shelf. Had been watching several perfume reviews and there was a couple of reviews that talked about how musks and powders smell very clean and there were people who really enjoyed them after a shower feeling like it made them feel fresh longer. When I got this in the mail to me the powder did not have the vanilla background they were talking about and I definitely didn't smell anything slightly musky. This is considered a good alternative for Narciso Rodriguez Poudrée and Celine Black Tie and while I've not smelled either of those I was looking forward to the scent notes specifically the musk and vanilla.Top Notes: Orange blossom, rose, jasmineMiddle Note: MuskBase Notes: Vanilla, tonka bean, cedar, vetiver, patchouliI do not smell the patchouli at all nor do I smell the orange blossom.... To me poudree meant powdery that first day and when I have so many exciting fragrances in my collection I'm not kidding when I said boring was my first thought. But guess what to perfumes have the biggest dents out of them over these past few months. This one and a middle eastern pistachio scent. Both come off super clean and fresh and are my favorite thing to put on after a shower. I tend to shower before bed and by morning some of that aroma lingers but not enough to ruin the perfume I'm going to wear the next day. What can I say? I love perfume!

This is the most beautiful, fluffy, soft vanilla! It has a slightly floral nuance that makes it so lovely, it’s very light, the first 1-2 hours it projects, then turns into a skin scent! I’m on my 2d bottle!

I wasn't sure about this fragrance at first. I let it mature for about 2 months and now I love it. Lasts all day on skin and clothes. Sweet and powdery. Lovely bottle.
